Farming & Plantation
Being in the real-estate front, it is natural for us to
diversify into up-steam or a downstream industry, which in year 2004, the farms
and plantation arms is born. The company started off with amateur banana
planting with many trail and errors along the way. We are glad to say that
after enormous effort we have finally make a name for our famous and tasty
banana. We have now successfully planted sweet corn, cilies, lemon grass,
bittergoard and many others type of plant.

Our farm practices, the “Green Farming Method” which is the
middle way between organic and convention farming. We are still trying very
hard to improve good and sustainable farming method which we believe that this
method produces healthy and tastier fruits.

It all started when I, fell in love.... where back in 1999. Waking up to the misty Sunday morning for the journey to the far east of Malaysia. Being a working day i have to bring a group of clients for a land visit to Pahang. Oh my dear, Pahang, I have not a clue of that state not to mention to have to run a walking commentary of a tropical fruits orchard . The long journey and the prospect of mosquito did not deter me from my aderine pumping job.
Nothing prepares me for the sight of
gorgeous hill of Pahang, the smell of crips air and the calming, theraputic
effect that comes with it. Maybe this is what we call the side effect of “love
at first sight” I vowed to come back one day..... the day I suppose to be able
to afford the majestic feel that engulf me.
The fateful day ended with the great
Japaness car maker slogan “The Power of Dreams” as my next great mantra. Work
hard I did and in 1995, this beautiful piece of land with an crazy attitude
stream running at the side finally becomes mine. What a glorious felling of
being able to transform the picture in your mind into reality.
Banana, durian, lemongrass, cillies, lime, waxed apple, sweet
corn, bitter goard, are some of the plants that grow from this land.
Genuine Farms & Plantation Sdn Bhd is the only female commercial banana planter in Malaysia. I
have since graduated from a novice learning from the school of hard knock to a
professional farmer and with a great dedication to environment and sustainable
farming ideologies. The whole journey into this farming business is not what
you can, who you are and how much knowledge you acquire. It is more of
balancing the nature with yourself. Once you get the balance with patient
right, and perhaps along the way the Power To Be might consider giving you a
helping hand. Remember rain and sunshine at appropriate time ...... No amount
of books will teach you how to do that! What a day...

R & D With Manufacturing Department
The product manufacturing division is born out of passion
from our farming experience. Currently, we have three categories of products in our production line; which is the tropical enzyme drink, tropical fruits wine and tropical beauty product.Our product is 100% natural without any synthetic colouring or flavouring. This new venture will focus on providing affordable health
screening for the public. We also work together with Malaysia government to facilitates the "FREE MAMMOGRAM" program to the public.       
Very unfortunate, when you JV with others, you are exposed to all
unknown risk and maybe you die a very poor death. My ideas, planning and "gung ho" spirit evaporated into thin air when my JV partner went under. At the end, i did lost some money, but the vast amount of knowledge is immeasurably and i did enjoy myself very much. |
